In a resounding victory, George Galloway emerged victorious in the Rochdale by-election by a substantial margin, signalling a significant shift in political dynamics. As we called it, the win sheds light on Labour’s strategic move to distance themselves from an embarrassing loss, further denting their already tainted reputation marred by Zionist affiliations and their support for the genocidal regime in Israel.

Galloway’s win sends a clear message, especially to the Muslim community, whose support for Palestine is at the heart of their political choices. This is a massive victory for the people of Rochdale who have broken their colonial chains from Labour! And a small victory for the people of Gaza.

From Rochdale to Dearbourne Michigan USA, this serves as a clarion call for the Muslim community whose allegiance lies with Palestine, indicating a pivotal stance in the upcoming General Election.

They plot and plan, but Allah is the best of planners!

With all eyes set on the upcoming General Election, Galloway’s triumph hints at a shifting landscape. For far too long the Labour machine has taken the Muslim vote for granted and since Starmers support for the genocide, Labour and the political establishment has downplayed the power of the Muslim vote. You are now staring down the barrels of a defeat at the general election for not recognising us. 

Furthermore, Labour needs to expel those that support a genocidal consensus, starting with Starmer. This vote was for Palestine and we’re pretty sure that the political establishment will do everything in their power to undermine and spin their way out of this. There is no getting away from it Labour, the upcoming general election is yours to lose. We have the momentum and once again we are challenging the established political norms.

MPACUK were on the ground in Rochdale advising, supporting and helping to mobilise the community to make Gaza the biggest issue in this by-election, canvassing to ensure Muslims get out to the polling booths and to make their vote count. 

Once again, the Muslims of Rochdale did not disappoint. 

In 2005, MPACUK launched Operation Muslim Vote which led to Rochdale’s Labour Zionist MP, Lorna Fitzsimons being kicked out by Rochdalian Muslims.  

They voted for Palestine then.
