Yesterday, at least 55 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army, who were protesting peacefully for their right to return to their homeland.

The peaceful protest was conducted on the 70^th anniversary of Al-Nakba as well as the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem.

MPACUK Spokesperson, Imran Shah, said:

“There’s no doubt Israel is conducting a genocide upon the Palestinian people. Israel’s aggressive colonisation of Palestinian land and indiscriminate killing makes Israel one of the most tyrannical regimes on Earth.

Whilst we support Corbyn’s calls for reviewing and divesting UK arms sales away from Israel and investigations into Netanyahu’s government for International Law violations, we must push for a wider boycott of Israel.

Ignorance is no longer an excuse. Anyone with any relationship with Israel is complicit to this genocide.”
