Who Do Muslims Fear More: Allah Or Israel?

In a desperate attempt to shock the world and regain their ‘fear factor’, Israel has murdered one of Palestine’s key legitimate representatives, Ismail Haniyeh.

Like petty gangsters, the Zionist state prioritises its reputation for brutality over law, or even sense. Why else would a nation that’s losing a war decide to kill a political leader of its opponent?

They already tried to strongarm Haniyeh by murdering two generations of his family during Eid ul Fitr celebrations. Haniyeh’s response was, “The blood of my children is not more valuable than the blood of the children of the Palestinian people … All the martyrs of Palestine are my children.”

And now they’ve murdered Ismail Haniyeh himself, who was clearly ready for this possibility, as he once said, “This responsibility has costs, and we’re prepared for these costs.”

Whatever his flaws and failings, Haniyeh is with his Lord now and his trials in life are over.

What about the rest of us? What lessons must we learn, in order to continue supporting Palestine’s legal, human right to resist genocide?

Firstly, this fact is now unavoidable: Israel is an untrustworthy war monger who cannot be trusted as a partner in peace.

Not only have they murdered a former head of state in a second country, they’ve put put more effort into doing this than they have in saving their own hostages. This is coming straight after murdering a Hezbollah leader in Lebanon and bombing a Houthi port in Yemen.

Israel wants to escalate conflict, not reduce it, and any Zionists’ statements that contradict this must be treated as lies.

Secondly – and this is a reminder that we all have to take to heart – Zionists are only as powerful as their collaborators.

On an international level, the world has seen that Israel is a toothless beggar without the self-destructive assistance of other nations.

On national levels, we’ve seen how the only people who support Israel are politicians or street thugs who take their money. Israel has to pay for the loyalty of middle-men who not only do their dirty work, but who also carry the costs of selling out their own communities for Israel’s benefit.

So what about on the Muslim community level? What would collaboration with Zionists look like then?
There’s the obvious, like the Saudi plan to normalise relations with Israel, but there are less overt trends too.

Have you heard of ‘Muslim influencers’ trying to “both sides” the genocide? Or ‘Muslim personalities’ undermining Palestinians’ right to resist said genocide? Or, worst of all, Muslims saying that nothing can be done because Zionists are too powerful – as if they fear Israel more than they fear Allah s.w.t.

All of the above is collaboration in the sense that it gives oxygen to Zionist propaganda. The consequences of such collaboration results in bodily assassinations, character assassinations, or the death of resistance.

Yet Palestinians remain steadfast in their faith and their demand for freedom. The least you can do is stand, on the correct side of history, right beside them.
