The attack on the Mosque in Southport and the Muslim community is a direct result of online misinformation by far right extremists who want race riots on our streets.

The likes of Tommy Robinson, Nigel Farage, Lee Anderson, Lord Pearson, Suella Braverman, Richard Tice, Isabel Oakshott, Julia Hartley Brewer, Andrew Pierce, LBC, GB News, Talk TV et al have been prominent voices in providing succor to right wing extremists, baiting them with anti immigrant and Islamophobic narratives to fuel their victimhood mentality.

In their quest to attack Muslims, not only have they have hijacked the memorial for the three little girls tragically murdered in Southport, but have also attacked the police, the same police who they claimed to be supporting when they were violently assaulting unarmed teenagers and their elderly mother at Manchester Airport a week ago.

We urge the Government to step in and let Southport pay their respects to the three little girls in peace and to protect the community from fascist fuelled riots.
