REVEALED: 1 in 7 Brit non-Muslims sympathy for jihadis

Post placeholder image

Misleading headlineMORE THAN one in seven British non-Muslims has some sympathy with those who have fled the UK to fight for IS in Syria.

The figures emerged in a poll commissioned by Sky News earlier this year. (Question 5 on this survey)

What makes it even more worrying is that many non-Muslims leaders have not come out to condemn this startling revelation.

The amount of non-Muslims silently condoning terrorism is worrying – MPACUK hope that the Government takes the necessary steps to deal with extremism within the non-Muslim community.

NOTE:

If you think our headline, the manipulation of statistics and smearing an entire community is wrong – well, we agree!

But if it’s wrong for us to do this, why is The Sun allowed to get away with its recent “revelation” that “nearly 1 in 5 British Muslims has some sympathy with those who have fled the UK to fight for IS in Syria”?

Their recent headline only leads to more hate against Muslims which has far too often spilled over into physical violence – especially since the attacks in Paris.

If you’ve had enough of The Sun’s misrepresentation of Muslims, then:

  • email them to complain – ombudsman@the-sun.co.uk
  • contact them on Twitter & Facebook – @TheSun & The Sun on FB
  • contact companies who advertise with The Sun if they agree with this blatant misrepresentation of Muslims in the UK
