On 27^th March, Channel 4 aired a dispatches documentary, “Who Speaks for British Muslims?”, that features Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND) and CAGE on whether they speak for British Muslims or not.

The documentary presenter, John Ware, has previously done documentaries on Muslim activism, such as “The Battle of British Islam” & “Faith, Hate and Charity”.

Additionally, John Ware only bothered to interview Muslim voices, such as Amina Lone and Fiyaz Mughal, who run organisations that are government funded, publicly endorsed by the government and desperately struggle to gain more support from British Muslims than MEND or CAGE. This shows the clear bias and agenda from a presenter that has repeatedly shown his contempt for Muslims and pro-Palestinians.”
