The Home Secretary’s role includes responsibility for national security. It seems like Mahmood has forgotten which country she is Home Security for. Firstly she said she has ‘no confidence’ in the West Midlands Police Chief Constable, Craig Guildford, over the Maccabi Tel-Aviv hooligan ban.

It was clear for all to see how the Maccabi thugs acted in Amsterdam in November 2024. Videos were taken of the Maccabi rioters beating up local residents and causing destruction to property. The wise decision taken by Chief Constable Craig Guildford to ban the foreign Maccabi extremists ensured the safety of British residents. Many of the Maccabi thugs participated in the military of the Zionist state which is accused of war crimes in Gaza, where women and children were targeted and shot dead.

Mahmood should have applauded the decision by the Chief Constable, however she forced Guildford into early retirement for a foreign entity who committed war crimes in Gaza. Had the Maccabi monsters been allowed in the UK, in which the people are mostly pro-Palestinian, it could have resulted in violent attacks on the streets of Britain against men, women and children. So much for safety of our women and children. Let’s not forget that even when the match was in the Zionist capital, Tel Aviv, clashes involving Maccabi hooligans left 15 people injured there.

Now Mahmood wants to stand against the British court’s decision, which stated that Yvette Cooper’s action to proscribe the group Palestine Action was unlawful. Hundreds of people were arrested for holding a banner that simple said ‘I oppose Genocide, I support Palestine Action’, including pensioners and disabled people.

It’s clear for everyone to see that the intent members of Palestine Action was not to cause harm to people but to harm the infrastructure of Elbit System, which provide weapons be the Zionist state which is committing war crimes against civilians in Gaza.

It seems like Mahmood doesn’t want to uphold British Law or protect the people of our country in fear of a foreign entity, she must go!

The people of conscious of Birmingham must show her that her anti-Palestinian stance is not acceptable in a march of no confidence outside her surgery. Her stance will only get worse unless we hold her accountable now.
