Judaism has been a problem in Britain for a long time. It’s time to face up to that
The Lord Goodman of Wycombe, commonly known as the former Conservative MP for High Wycombe and Editor for Conservative Home, Paul Goodman, recently wrote a propaganda piece for the Likudgraph titled “Islam has been a problem in Britain for a long time. It’s time to face up to that” we’ve linked to an archived version of the article as it sits behind a paywall. It does make for some shocking reading.
The levels of pro-Zionist propaganda that the Telegraph/ Torygraph/ Likudgraph has been pumping out in defence of their Israeli clients over the last couple of years has been at an all time high. Islamophobic rhetoric couched as academic discourse shows no letting up whatsoever at the Likudgraph, little wonder when the likes of its Political Editor Camilla Turner are part of the idealogical Zionists embedded into the establishment media to simultaneously cheer-lead for the genocidal Israeli state and to disrupt Pro-Palestinian sentiment and cause disharmony amongst British Muslims and the wider British community.
We wanted to provide a side-by-side comparative version of Goodman’s propaganda piece, showing how the tone and public acceptability of the same text shifts when you simply replace Muslim/Islam with Jew/Judaism.
We’ve presented it in two aligned columns for clarity (left = original, right = replaced?
· The structure and logic of the piece remain identical.
· But when Jew/Judaism replaces Muslim/Islam, the rhetoric instantly reads as openly antisemitic and extremist.
· The same sentences that might pass as “security commentary” in one form become clearly discriminatory and conspiratorial in the other.
· This comparison lays bare a double standard often present in mainstream discourse about religion, extremism and integration.

Only the Islamophobic version of the above would be considered acceptable to print in this day and age. As Tory peer, Baroness Warsi, spoke in 2011 of “Islamophobia passing the dinner table test. We see that Islamophobic attitudes are in the ascendency both in the media and within a number of the political parties on the right and the Labour party. These attitudes have effects in the real world and until Muslims engage in democratic political activism, this situation will only get worse.
