Due to a leaflet production error, our 2024 General Election campaign leaflet on Shabana Mahmood, MP for Birmingham Ladywood, contained a factual error.

It wrongly stated the Ms Mahmood voted for The Economic Activity of Public Bodies (Overseas Matters) Bill commonly known as the anti-BDS Bill (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions). This parliamentary bill would have enabled public bodies to be fined if they supported any boycott campaigns against Israel.

MPACUK encouraged all MPs, Muslim and non-Muslim to vote against the Bill.

MPACUK have destroyed any remaining leaflets that contained this error and apologise to Ms Mahmood for the administrative error.
