The USA commits a war crime against the Yemeni people bombing paramedics, rescue workers and civilians.

Only a few days ago the US launched deadly and devastating bombs on the Ras Isa oil port in Yemen. Whilst claiming to attack infrastructure, the US succeeded only in murdering 80 civilians and injuring a further 171.

What is so heinous and evil about this attack is the ‘double tap’ method of slaughter. The port and surrounding areas were bombed once and then when rescue workers and paramedics arrived to treat the wounded, bombs were deliberately dropped again by US planes. It is collective punishment by the US for the solidarity of the Yemeni people with their brothers and sisters in Gaza.

Since Trump took power in January 2025, he has continued the murderous bombing campaign against the Yemeni people initiated by his predecessor Joe Biden. Murdering in the name of America for the sake of Israel is the overriding policy of the US government under any administration.

Hundreds of US bomb attacks continue against our brothers and sisters in Yemen. Where is the action from our institutions, the mosques, those who claim to represent us. Are we as Muslims satisfied to only make du’a, how many of us have spoken out, written to our MPs and ministers? How many of us consistently boycott Israeli supporting companies.

Now is the time to get organised, start boycotting, complain about biased media coverage, write to your MP about Gaza and Yemen. Take action now for justice.

This is our deen, this is a fard (duty) on every one of us. In this time of genocide it’s as vital as praying. Do it now!.
