Dr. Mustafa Barghouti is a leading Palestinian physician and politician who is an MP in the Palestinian legislative Council, he’s also the leader of the Palestinian National Initiative, a secular Democratic Socialist Party but according to Julia Hartley Brewer this man warrants less than zero respect. Here she conducts a disgraceful interrogation with Barghouti where the aim to discuss the recent assassination by Israel of a Hamas leader in Beirut was lost with Brewer constantly denigrating her invited guest.

This was one of the most offensive, racist & Islamophobic pieces of journalism – if you want to call it journalism (considering the pro-Israeli mainstream media propaganda that has been produced since October 7^th) – that we have seen in a very long time!

She tried to desperately to portray Dr Mustafa Barghouti – a founding member of the BDS movement, in an orientalist negative light, her antics were completely uncalled for and clearly designed to attack her guest, not allowing him to even complete a sentence!

Israeli propagandists like this do not deserve the air time when there are Palestinian journalists being murdered by the IDF for the crime of bringing us the truth of the war crimes being committed by Israel.

Brewer than gave an entire segment to Douglas “Life for all Muslims must be made harder across the board” Murray, a Neo-Con, Zionist sympathiser who has been a very vocal supporter and promoter of the slaughter of Palestinians.

It’s crucial that we express our concerns to Ofcom about this journalist, emphasising that such individuals should not be granted airtime.
