One week ago, 10 Palestinians were murdered by the Israeli military.  Every single week, the Zionist Apartheid state murders our brothers and sisters, even children with zero accountability.  Every time Muslims living in the comfort of the West get upset and angry, and vow that we will make a difference.  However a few days later we go back to sleep and do nothing.  Every.  Single.  Time.

There are Muslims who boast about our numbers, some even state that Islam is the fastest growing religion.  The truth is that even with our great numbers, we are too scared to speak the truth.

The Zionist lobby accuse anyone who speaks out against them of Anti-Semitism, and that little statement puts fear into us.  Fear of being labelled something which may result in us losing our jobs, our comfort.  We have lost the fear of Allah and gained the fear of our haters, who use their hatred against all of us to justify killing small children.

Islamophobia is being used to demonise the fastest growing religion and its followers so that oppressors can justify killing small children.  No other people on earth would tolerate this, but Islamophobes have demonised us to such an extent, we have become scared of looking bad in front of those who oppress our brothers and sisters.   Our fear is killing us.

It’s time we spoke up, it’s time we defended ourselves and the Palestinian children who have committed no crime but are being treated as criminals by the Apartheid regime.

Gaza an open air prison.  Imagine living in prison for nothing.  The only thing that your oppressors have against you is your ethnicity and their hatred for it.  The crime is theirs but they blame you because you breathe.  They blame you because, for them, you were born in the wrong land.  They demonise you every day until your brothers and sisters openly stay silent and allow the oppressor to claim that they are defending themselves against mostly unarmed civilians, including children.

Every single Palestinian child who is killed or becomes an orphan is our child, and it is our responsibility not only to defend them, but to ensure their right to a future and not to be oppressed. 

What can we do?  I hear you ask. 

What did the Zionists do?  They started from nothing, and built themselves up so much that today if anyone dares point the finger at them, they will defame them by calling them Anti-Semitic.  They have weaponised Anti-Semitism to the point that you feel ashamed to even defend children.

It is time that we Muslims living in the West, took action.  But remember: the pen is mightier than the sword.  The pen speaks to the oppressors and challenges the way they think.

They say they are fighting terrorists, but the Israeli regime have become the biggest terrorists. It’s time that the Ummah as a whole body told them that.  Yes, our leaders are failing us.  It’s time that we held them to account.  How can they justify building ties with the Zionist state when Zionists hate Arabs – Christians and Muslims both, and is imprisoning them in their own homes?  They have no shame.  But neither do we as we allow them to go unchallenged.

How many Mosques in the UK will say anything about the criminal actions against Palestinians?  You will say, they don’t know how.  That’s not true.  See how political they can get about applying for an extension to their Mosques, or whenever halal meat is under threat of being banned in the UK.  It’s not that they don’t know how to get political or speak out when they see wrong.  It’s just that they have forgotten their obligation to defend the oppressed. 

The pen is mightier than the sword, it’s time we got organised as an Ummah in the West, and said enough is enough.
