MPACUK launches Operation Muslim Vote Map

As part of Operation Muslim Vote, the Muslim Public Affairs Committee UK (MPACUK) have developed a nation-wide map to help British Muslims research the information they need before they cast their vote in the General Election.

The interactive map focuses on constituencies where Muslims make up 10% or more, detailing analysis of MP’s voting record and Parliamentary speeches. Over the coming days, more information will be added on other constituencies.

This is only tool of its kind developed by a Muslim organisation ever in the UK.

Commenting, MPACUK’s Election Campaign Co-ordinator, Raza Nadim, said:

“We developed this tool because we want Muslims to vote intelligently in this general election. For far too long, unethical MPs have faced little or no accountability about their voting record and speeches which impacts Muslims, and the wider British society, on a local, national and international level.

“With rising Islamophobia and the impact of this country’s disastrous foreign policy, we hope this interactive map will empower Muslims in this General Election to ask the hard questions and make the right choices.”
