Islamophobia is on the rise.

From draconian legislation to attacks on our streets, Muslims are the most oppressed people around the world.

But these attacks on Islam are not a product of random, individual acts of hate. They are the product of an organised, well-funded industry – the Islamophbia industry – that works tirelessly to dehumanise Muslims.

Much has been written about the racists involved in this but we want to share just one fact that stands out the most:

Yasmine Taeb, co-author of the new report, Fear, Inc. 2.0: The Islamophobia Network’s Efforts to Manufacture Hate in America, said in a recent interview that “since 2001, there has been over $57 million that’s been contributed to this fear-mongering, anti-Muslim, anti-Islam organisations by eight very wealthy donors.”

Over, $57 million – all to demonise you (and that only covers 8 of the top donors!)

All this money is spent to demonise our community, but how much are we spending to defend ourselves?

MPACUK is one of the leading UK organisations campaigning against Islamophobia.

From our media appearances to our campaigns, we have been defending the community in these testing times – and we’ve been winning.

But MPACUK want to be better for our community’s sake. To take on the 24/7 Islamophobia Industry, we need our own 24/7 Anti-Islamophobia Nerve Centre.

– build more resources for more anti-Islamophobia campaigns
– run more workshops in the community
– create a network of activists around the country to respond to breaking news stories that affect Muslims.
