Action Alert! Contact Facebook & The Independent about the banning of Muslim & pro-Palestinian activists!
Are Muslim and pro-Palestinian voices being targeted by coordinated, organised campaigns?
Last week we reported how MPACUK’s Raza Nadim and other admins were banned from Facebook for this post:
It’s basically a quote from a musician about Israel’s atrocities. One of the mildest posts EVER about Israel yet STILL this led to MPACUK being banned.
We’ve seen in the past that pro-Palestinian voices have been silenced – with cartoons and other posts being targeted.
Why is this is a no-go area on Facebook?
Why does Facebook ignore petitions by people to get pro-RAPE pages closed down (because they believe in “freedom of speech”) but we’re not allowed to even mention Israel?
Is this going to be allowed by FB in a modern, democratic society?
Are WE going to allow them to do this to us? Or are we going to take a stand?
