Update! Speakers Pull Out of Event in Manchester Because They Don’t Want To Share a Platform with Pro-Israel Speaker

MPACUK UpdateMPACUK have been informed that many speakers have pulled out of the Nisa-Nashim event at the British Muslim Heritage Centre (taking place tonight at 7pm) due to Laura Marks’ unwavering support of Israel’s occupation of Palestine.

Laura Marks OBE, is the former Senior Vice President of the rabidly pro-Israel organisation Board of Deputies of British Jews (BoD).

The speakers who have pulled out of the event informed the organisers of their decision after doing some research on the co-chairs of Nisa-Nashim.

The speakers, who have asked MPACUK to remain anonymous, told us that they felt “morally and ethically uncomfortable” sharing a platform with individuals like Laura Marks who are proud supporters of Israel’s oppression & occupation of Palestine.

However their names were still added to the agenda, with one of the speakers not even being told that they were down to speak at this event!

These underhanded tactics, according to the speakers who have pulled out, are being use by the Nisa-Nashim network to gain legitimacy for their big launch event.
