Andy Burnham – will he be any better?

Keir Starmer resigned from the office PM of the United Kingdom and gave an emotional speech as to why he made this decision.

However, the only tears that were shed by others were tears of joy, apart from obviously from Keir’s tears.

It seems that his replacement is to be Andy Burnham who was the mayor of Greater Manchester. Now many readers cannot be blamed for thinking, same party, same pro-Zionist ideology. However, Burnham has recently admitted that the Labour Party got it “wrong on Gaza” and now has the chance to put his words into action.

This is what he should do, to get the people to vote for him in the next elections:

1. Challenge the slur against the name of the Pro-Palestinian protests from ‘Hate March’ to ‘Palestinian freedom marches’.

2. Ensure trial by jury will be protected under his watch and that the jurors are fully aware of all sentence that will be awarded to the defendant if found guilty.

3. Introduce a wealth tax, to tax the ultra rich, so that the resources are shared to ensure all British people are allowed to live in dignity

4. Scrutinise the immigration policies of Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmoud, and take out all measures that will discriminate against black and brown British citizens.

5. Stop arming the Zionist entity and hold sanctions against them.

6. Work with Muslim groups to produce a working definition of Islamophobia and implement this definition to ensure British Muslims have the same rights and safety as any other British citizens.

7. Redefine anti-Semitism as to not include any criticism of the Zionist state. Our freedom to criticise any county must be upheld, especially against those that are committing genocide.

We are living in a democracy and British Muslims should be hopeful for a better tomorrow InshaAllah.
