Without Jewish Chronicles lies, Israel dies? Part 2
Why is no one owning up to owning the Jewish Chronicle?
After fake news, a fake journalist and a flurry of resignations, the paper of choice for Zionist genocide cheerleaders is facing scrutiny over who owns this rag.
In 2020 The Jewish Chronicle was forced to pay out substantial legal costs and libel damages. It also chalked up several breaches of the editorial code of conduct according to the press regulator IPSO and was fast heading towards voluntary liquidation.
Closure appeared inevitable till a mysterious consortium headed by Sir Robbie Gibb, formerly an aide to Theresa May stepped in. On paper he is the sole owner although it is highly unlikely, he had the £3.5m needed to rescue the ailing publication. So, who is the actual owner? apparently no one knows or is willing to divulge who is behind the money propping up the Zionist propaganda machine.
One of its ex longtime contributors said “the JC is owned by a person or people who refuse to reveal themselves”.
Its editor Jake Wallis Simons refuses to answer who he works for. His response being “these questions aren’t really for me”. Under his watch as editor, the paper has taken a more hardline pro Israeli stance and judging from his Twitter feed, he is an enthusiastic defender of Israels genocide on Palestine and Lebanon.
So why does it matter who owns the JC, it matters for several reasons, all news media seeks to influence the views of its readership and promote its agenda, whether right or left wing or in this case Zionist.
Earlier this year the UK government intervened to stop a bid to buy the British broadsheet, The Telegraph by an Abu Dhabi based firm backed by the emirate’s ruling family. Since the takeover bid, legislation was introduced to ban foreign states owning British news publications.
Is it possible a foreign state representative is keeping the dying ship of the Jewish Chronicle afloat? Given the trail of false reporting has a distinctly Zionist whiff about it, it is not too far a stretch of the imagination to think so.
