For 24 years MPACUK have been advocating and demonstrating through election campaigning – Operation Muslim Vote – the power of the Muslim vote in the United
Kingdom.

We are incredibly pleased and hopeful that we are now seeing Muslims self-organising and mobilising for Palestine and against the extremist ideology of Zionism.

What we are seeing in these local elections is precisely what we saw in our recent Operation Muslim Vote campaign in Rochdale earlier this year. Muslims are finally understanding the power they hold and that is precisely what the political establishment have tried long and hard to downplay.

Our gains have been twofold. Firstly, BOTH the Islamophobic Tory party have been humiliated and lost many seats.

Secondly. Muslims have shown Labours Kier Starmer that we will not blindly follow a party that supports the genocidal Zionist occupation of Palestine.

The political establishment, especially the Labour machine will no doubt begin to play their  psychological games to limit the impact caused by the Muslim vote in the coming days.

Your rebellion doesn’t matter is the lesson they will want to teach Muslims. We need our people to realise the strength of their tactical vote, that it’s real and has the power to bring  change come the General Election – the results of the local elections is a dry run for the General Election and shows what can be achieved.
