Yesterday, on national TV, Prime Minister David Cameron said of Shaykh Sulaiman Ghani that “…this man supports IS [Da’esh]”.

This is an outright lie and we as Muslims must hold him to account for it. Like every other mainstream Islamic scholar, Shk Sulaiman Ghani has clearly spoken against Da’esh.

It is David Cameron who must prove his innocence, not Shk Sulaiman. We must demand our MPs to force David Cameron to explain why he lied, and to apologise to Shk Sulaiman.

2) Demand they expose Cameron for lying and breaking point 16 of the Parliamentary Code of Conduct which sets out rules for MPs’ behaviour in Parliament

3) Contact the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards by phone (020 7219 1883) or email (standardscommissioner@parliament.uk) and demand sanctions on Cameron as per point 19 of the Parliamentary Code
