On Wednesday night, MPs voted on whether the UK should join US-led coalition airstrikes in Syria.

MPACUK mobilised thousands of Muslims to contact their MP before the vote and make it clear that we do not want more innocent children to die & do not want to worsen the refugee crisis.

Shaykh Sulaiman Ghani also came out to publicly support MPACUK’s campaign.

Unfortunately, the government motion was passed 397 to 223 which means the UK will join in US-led airstrikes.

Now we have to hold MPs to account for how they voted.

• Contact your local MP – if they voted for the airstrikes, tell them how you disgusted you are about this & how it will only make things worse.
  • If possible, demand a meeting with your MP so that you can explain why they are wrong and should’ve listened to their constituents

 

• If your MP voted AGAINST the airstrikes, contact them to congratulate them on making the right decision.
